Welcome to PrimalMatch. By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By creating an account, accessing, or using PrimalMatch ("the App"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use PrimalMatch. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
4. USER CONDUCT
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information in your profile
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm another person
- Upload content that is offensive, hateful, or violates any third party's rights
- Use automated systems or bots to access the App
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Solicit money or other items of value from other users
- Use the App for commercial purposes without our consent
5. CONTENT
You retain ownership of the content you submit to PrimalMatch. By posting content, you grant PrimalMatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with operating the App. You are solely responsible for the content you post.
6. PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT
The personality assessment provided within the App uses items from the public-domain IPIP-HEXACO scales (Ashton, Lee, & Goldberg, 2007) to measure the six factors of the HEXACO model of personality. The assessment and the resulting trait scores are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. They are not a clinical or diagnostic tool. PrimalMatch makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of personality results or compatibility scores.
7. COMPATIBILITY SCORES
Diet compatibility and personality compatibility scores are algorithmic estimates based on user-provided information. They are intended as conversation starters and general guidance, not guarantees of relationship success.
8. PRIMAL+ SUBSCRIPTION
Certain features — including unlimited daily likes, seeing who's already liked you, advanced filters (verified-only, religion, politics), and priority placement in matches' decks — require a paid Primal+ subscription. The price, billing cycle, and renewal terms for each subscription tier (1, 3, 6, or 12 months) are presented inside the App at the time of purchase.
Payment, Auto-Renewal, and Cancellation (Apple App Store)
All Primal+ subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. By purchasing a Primal+ subscription you authorize the following terms, as required by Apple's Standard EULA:
- Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price disclosed at the time of your most recent purchase.
- You may manage your subscription, change plans, or turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Account Settings on the device after purchase: iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Primal Match.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a Primal+ subscription, where applicable.
- Refund requests should be directed to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com — Apple is the merchant of record for all Primal+ purchases and PrimalMatch cannot directly issue refunds for App Store purchases.
Gift Bundles (Consumable Purchases)
Primal Match also offers consumable gift bundles (Steaks, Roses, Cheers) purchased through the App Store. These are one-time purchases and do not auto-renew. Gifts are credited to your account immediately upon successful purchase and have no cash value, no expiration, and are not transferable or refundable except as required by Apple's refund policy.
9. SMS PROGRAM TERMS
Program name: Primal Match Account Verification.
Program description: When you sign up for or sign in to Primal Match, we send a one-time verification code (OTP) by SMS to confirm that you own the phone number you provided. This is a transactional, one-to-one verification program. We do not send marketing, promotional, or solicitation messages on this program.
Message frequency: Recurring as needed. You will receive one SMS per verification attempt that you initiate (typically 1–2 per sign-up, plus 1 per future sign-in if you choose SMS as your authentication method). You will never receive an unsolicited SMS from this program. Every message is initiated by you tapping the "Send code" button in the Primal Match app.
Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless plan and carrier. Primal Match does not charge you for SMS; standard carrier rates from your provider apply.
Opt-out instructions: Reply STOP to any verification SMS to immediately and permanently opt out of all future SMS from Primal Match. After replying STOP, you will receive one final confirmation SMS acknowledging the opt-out, and no further SMS will be sent. Opting out of SMS will prevent you from receiving future verification codes; if you opt out, you will need to use email-based authentication instead.

Supported carriers: Compatible with all major US wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, and most regional and MVNO carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy: Your phone number is collected and used solely for account verification. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. 10. PHOTO VERIFICATION
PrimalMatch offers an optional "Photo Verified" badge feature. Users may submit a photograph of a government-issued identification document for review by the PrimalMatch team. The "Photo Verified" badge indicates only that the user submitted an ID document that was reviewed by our team and appeared to match the name and likeness associated with the account. It does NOT constitute a guarantee or warranty that: (a) the identification document is authentic or unaltered; (b) the user is in fact who they claim to be; (c) the user has no criminal record or is otherwise safe to interact with; or (d) any information on the user's profile is accurate. PrimalMatch is not an identity verification service and does not employ forensic document analysis, biometric matching, or government database checks. ID photographs submitted for verification are stored securely, used solely for verification purposes, and are never displayed to other users. You should always exercise your own judgment and caution when interacting with any user, regardless of verification status.
11. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND REMOVAL
PrimalMatch may suspend, restrict, or permanently remove your account at any time if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or that your continued use of the App is detrimental to the safety, well-being, or experience of other users.
Without limiting the foregoing, the following are specific grounds for account removal:
(a) Creating a fake, fraudulent, or catfish profile; (b) Posting inappropriate, offensive, or sexually explicit content; (c) Engaging in harassment, bullying, threats, or abusive behavior toward other users; (d) Using the App for spam, solicitation, or commercial purposes without authorization; (e) Being under 18 years of age; (f) Violating any provision of these Terms or our Community Guidelines; (g) Any other conduct that PrimalMatch, in its sole and absolute discretion, deems inappropriate, harmful, or inconsistent with the purpose and values of the platform.
The above list is illustrative and not exhaustive. PrimalMatch expressly reserves the right to remove any user for any reason or for no stated reason, at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice. We are under no obligation to disclose the specific basis for any removal decision.
If your account is removed, you will be notified at the email address associated with your account. You may not create a new account after removal without express written permission from PrimalMatch.
You may delete your own account at any time through Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the App. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. We delete or anonymize your personal data on our servers within 30 days of your deletion request.
12. SAFETY, REPORTING, AND COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
PrimalMatch is committed to user safety. Every user profile in the App exposes Block and Report controls so you can flag concerning behavior in real time.
REPORT RESPONSE TIMELINE. Our safety team reviews every submitted report within 24 hours. We may take action including warning, suspending, or permanently removing a reported user when the conduct violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

When you submit a report through the App, the reported user is automatically blocked from contacting you while we investigate. You may unblock them later from Settings → Block List if you choose to.
THINGS WE WILL NOT TOLERATE include but are not limited to: harassment, hate speech, threats of violence, sexual content, sharing of intimate images without consent, suspected minors, fake or impersonation profiles, scams or solicitation, and any attempt to move communication off-platform for the purpose of evading our moderation.
13. DISCLAIMERS
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. PRIMALMATCH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
PrimalMatch does not conduct criminal background checks on users. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Always exercise caution when meeting someone in person for the first time.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRIMALMATCH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
15. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PrimalMatch, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
16. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
17. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
