Born from experience

Primal Match was born from founder Mikhaila Fuller's own experience with the power — and the cost — of personality compatibility. After a divorce when she was young, Mikhaila became deeply interested in what actually predicts whether two people will last. She turned to personality science, completed formal assessments, and used that framework when she met her now-husband. The result: their personalities are nearly identical, with differences primarily in Agreeableness — the exact kind of complementary variation the research says works. Today they have three kids and one on the way, and she's head over heels in love.

That experience became the foundation of Primal Match. Mikhaila saw firsthand that the difference between a relationship that falls apart and one that thrives often comes down to personality alignment — something no mainstream dating app even tries to measure.
